SPACE State of the Art Report
The SPACE State of the Art Report brings together a comprehensive body of evidence generated through a combination of desk research, including a scoping literature review and country reports, alongside extensive primary data collection. Insights were gathered from an online survey responses of over 500 health and social care practitioners, nine focus groups with 88 participants, and additional surveys involving 25 individuals across the five partner countries - Malta, Greece, Ireland, Spain and the UK. On the research side, extensive review was carried out of the data and evidence found in published literature, evaluating the impact of Social Prescribing (SP) initiatives on the well-being and quality of life of people recovering from cancer.

D2.2 State of the Art Report
The SPACE State of the Art Report aims to provide a comprehensive review and evaluation of evidence on the effect of Social Prescribing (SP) on the rehabilitation of cancer patients following treatment. It also identifies key challenges related to SP implementation and offers recommendations to support the development of a training package for primary care practitioners and volunteer managers. By summarising relevant research, this review will provide insights into the effectiveness, challenges, and potential benefits of SP in oncology care.
The State of the Art Report is available in English, French, Greek and Spanish (all versions are featured in the same document below).
